Celebrating Our Foundation: The Journey of International Ministries
At International Ministries, we believe in serving others with compassion, education, and a heart for community. Our journey began with a simple yet powerful idea: to create a space where faith, service, and learning intersect to transform lives and uplift communities. We are proud to share the story of how International Ministries came to life and what drives our mission forward.
Our Beginning in North Carolina
On April 5, 2018, International Ministries was officially formed as a nonprofit organization in the State of North Carolina. This milestone marked the beginning of our commitment to service, outreach, and empowerment. It was the start of a vision that would soon grow to reach individuals and groups from all walks of life, united by a common purpose: to serve and be served with dignity and love.
Gaining 501(c)(3) Status
Just a few months later, on August 2, 2018, we achieved another significant step forward — receiving our 501(c)(3) designation from the Internal Revenue Service. This recognition not only affirmed our standing as a charitable organization but also opened the doors for broader support and collaboration with partners, donors, and volunteers who share our values and mission.
Our Purpose
International Ministries exists to serve. Our foundational purpose is to:
Provide chaplaincy services to those in need of spiritual guidance, regardless of their background or belief system.
Offer religious and non-religious study courses designed to educate, inspire, and grow individuals and groups intellectually and spiritually.
Create volunteer opportunities that connect people with meaningful ways to serve others.
Launch and support community-based projects that bring lasting change, from food distribution to educational outreach, mentoring programs, and beyond.
Each of these areas reflects our core belief: that service, learning, and community go hand in hand in creating a more compassionate and empowered world.
Looking Ahead
As we continue to grow, we remain deeply committed to our founding vision. Whether it’s offering a listening ear, a helpful hand, or a space to learn and grow, International Ministries is here to walk alongside individuals and communities with purpose and love.
